I am migrating toward doing work on cradled panels and presenting them unframed with a museum wrap. So far, I have been very happy with the results. I have a couple paintings I did a on the thinner masonite panels which were framed. I decided to remove them from the frames, and cradle them myself (which was pretty easy). I think the first ones turned out very nice. All of my newer gallery and exhibition works will be on cradled panels.
