The reflective qualities of a painting are part of its character. I sometimes ask myself if I am creating oil paintings or mosaics of oil, because the reflective quality that the palette knife texture yeilds is almost mosaic like - dancing of light as one walks past, depending on the lighting. I've become quite enamored with it and never tire of it. With evening lighting (overhead) similar to an art gallery, the reflections are modest and visible in the upper ridges of the paint, with the light casting shadows beneath the thick impasto texture. As the day and lighting changes, so does the experience.

Nice work. I like the texture of the paint and the light reflected on it!
